The wait is over! The 2nd Wessex League inter-club event is at
Oxford on June 16th and is hosted by the Oxford City Athletics
Club.
We would really like to have a good show of competitors at this
event. Please let your team managers know your availability and
what events you would like to compete in....

Summer training begins at the Marlborough College Track on Sunday March 24th (9.15am
for U9s/U11s and 10.30am for U13s and older) .
Wednesday evening training for U13s and older will begin April 3rd (6.30 - 8pm).

Imogen’s first Oxford XC Experience is a winner - Imogen’s first ever competitive run. The school fun run was a distant memory. It was cold too. With shoulders up around her ears, and nerves jangling, Imogen lined up for the start. Dad’s rather confusing advice of ‘don’t go too fast, but try and keep up with the leaders’ hardly helped. The gun went, and 50 under 11 girls set off like startled deer...
